Repeater Systems

The Pueblo Ham Club has repeater systems on four towers in the region. We are in the process of adding 900 MHz. links to three of them. When completed, this project will enable us to link any or all of our two meter repeaters together so that when one is transmitting, the others will simultaneously transmit the same signal. This will significantly improve reception in areas where an individual repeaters transmitted signal is degraded due to terrain. Also, a mobile or portable station will need only to be close enough to activate one of the repeaters to transmit on all three. Configuring this system will be accomplished remotely, by radio, without the necessity of traveling to the repeater sites. This is especially advantageous as several of our repeater towers are located at sites which are inaccessible in the winter months.
